Rewards FAQs
Reward points have no expiration, however any account that has been inactive for two (2) consecutive years may be unregistered. Inactivity is defined as no points earned during such two (2) consecutive year period from any retail location or any claimed online purchase. In the event that your account is unregistered or rendered inactive, all accrued points in your account are void.
There are no participation or membership fees associated with Video Game Heaven and Cool Stuff's rewards program. It's entirely free and optional to earn these benefits!
It's pretty simple. Whatever you pay towards a pre-order before it's released will earn you bonus points right away. Once the pre-order releases you earn the points for the full price of the pre-order too! So if you pay in full for a pre-order ahead of time, you earn double points.
You may not. Rewards points are non-transferrable.
Yes! Your rewards account works at all Video Game Heaven and Cool Stuff retail stores. Your purchases from each location will accrue points to one account, and the rewards can be redeemed at any store location.
Yes and no.
Although online purchases can earn you points, the rewards cannot be redeemed towards an online purchase. We apologize for this limitation and hope to offer a solution in the future.
In order to award points to your account for an online purchase, you just have to reach out to us using the form found here.
No. Points are only worth the rewards indicated in the "Point Payback" section above. For example, 100 points cannot be redeemed for any reward until you reach at least 250 points. 400 points are only worth $10, however claiming the 250-point reward would leave a 400-point balance at 150 points.
Currently there is no association between the use of a StoreCard and your rewards account.
This is primarily due to the fact that StoreCards function similarly to a reloadable gift card that can be registered to a StoreCard account. A StoreCard account and your rewards account are two entirely different systems that cannot talk to each other.
There is always the possibility that the terms of the rewards program can change. By enrolling in our rewards program you agree to its Terms of Use. Video Game Heaven and Cool Stuff reserve the right to change or modify these Terms of Use or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to its rewards program, in whole or in part, at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately and may be posted to https://videogameheaven.com, so please check back from time to time.
